Nushtival was July 16 & 17. It was an exciting celebration of salmon and Bristol Bay.

There were three judges: Massa Pat, Peter Pan Cook, Oussie. Judges deliberated amongst each other to decide which contestant met the judges likings; 1st place-Mary Jane Kasayulie, 2nd place-Robyn Chaney, 3rd place-Tim Sands.

Fear Factor, you are what you Eat: We had five willing participants who from the crowd who ate abnormal food put together. The food went from marshmallows with chopped garlic at both ends of a straw to V8 juice with blue cheese in a cup. To test the limit to where a person would go, Kimberly even brought baked salmon heads. In the end all participants got something out of eating not your average food.

Later on in the evening Pamyua preformed at the Elementary Gym song after song.

Kim attended the Salmonstock Festival in Ninilchik. It consisted of three days of fish, fun, & music on the Kenai Peninsula Fairgrounds, August 5, 6, 7 2011.  It also emphasized the power we have in protecting our resources and our livelihoods. More than just celebrating what we have, it was an event that offered every attendee the tools needed to help preserve it. They created a human mosaic ground design on the 6th in the afternoon. The art facilitators were Mavis Muller (Homer) and Ray Troll (Ketchikan). Some of the New Stuyahok Dancers performed as well.
